To All Parents of the 2011 TF North Baseball Program,
As everyone is aware of the economy has taken its toll on many of us personally. With lay-offs, plant closing and all other things that relate to the downtrend in our
spending it has hit the High School Athletic Department. In
years past our teams have dressed well on the field. This is because
of the monies spent by the players and their parents in order to purchase the uniforms for each player.
I have attached a listing of things that we want our players to purchase for both practice
and game days. We all dress and look the same on the field. Please review this list and check what is needed for each player. I recommend that everyone gets a new jersey each year.
For Varsity players you will keep the same number that you had last season.
This year we are selling Discount Cards to neighboring business such as Chili’s, Starks Fish Chicken, Jiffy Lube,
Dunkin Donuts, Buffalo Wild Wings, Pepe’s, Popeye’s, Ted’s Restaurant, Connie’s Good Spirits, TF North
High School, McDonalds, Schoop’s, White Castle and Fuddruckers. They
offer many discounts and using the card one or two times pays for your donation.
Each card will be sold for $5.00. Each player will be
given a number of tickets and must turn in the amount of tickets sold. $4.00
from the sale of the card will be credited to them upon purchasing their baseball gear for the season. Example if they order $100.00 worth of equipment and sell 25 tickets that $100.00 will be credited
to them and you have to nothing for their equipment.
The freshmen and first time players will need to have $160.00 built up in their account
meaning selling 40 tickets. If there are short-falls on the
amount of tickets sold or not sold then the difference from the order will be made up prior to any equipment being given to
the players.
We will be having a Parents Meeting in February to further discuss this but the players
must contact me in order to get their tickets and begin selling.
